The walk

A walk around the neighbour spring time is full of surprises. I just discovered a little library, a great find. This is good it encourages people to read. We take reading  for granted but there are some people who can not read. Iam teaching my client how to read and write. She has a 6 year old daughter. The School keeps sending  her messages and field trips forms but she can not read. Her daughter is not able to go to these field trips. The inability to read affect lots of things in our daily lives. When you need to go some places you have to be able to read the signs and directions. Buying groceries is also another thing. I remember when a was young our neighbours wife bought dog food thinking it was for human consumption because she could not read. We keep on striving to encourage reading it is a powerful tool.
